October 5th Luncheon Seminar

On October 5th, SWA hosted the panel discussion on Growing Technologies: Vegetative Roof Systems & Waterproofing with the following presenters:

Denis Gingras, Sika Hydrotech Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Region and Hydrotech
Bill Corrigan, Ginkgo Sustainability Inc., Project Manager / Estimator

The panel provided an overview on vegetated roof systems, otherwise known as Green or Living roofs and are a design to incorporate green space on top of a building. Consisting of multiple layers, inclusive of waterproofing, root management, drainage, a growing medium etc., this panel discussion was intended to provide an overview of these systems with a specific focus on keeping our clients' roofs water-tight.
